Easter Chocolate

Talking about desserts, here is the first of our very yummy chocolate recipes.

Next time I'll share a chocolate Bubble Bath!

Chocolate Fondue

You don’t even need a fondue pot to enjoy this delicious treat for two!

·         250ml Cream
·         Jar of Montez Play Chocolate Sauce
·         Dippables (see suggestions below)

Method

Prepare all your dippables as bite sized pieces and arrange on a platter. Ideas include:
·         Strawberries (A classic!); Orange Segments; Bananas (you can fry them off in butter and sugar for a caramelised treat!); Marshmallows; Meringues; Biscotti; Shortbread; Crystallized Ginger; Cherries (Maraschino or Fresh) and Brownie Pieces....

       Let your imagination run wild!

You can put out toothpicks or cake forks to pick up the pieces, but its extra sensual to pick pieces up with your fingers and feed each other, or yourself, but makes sure you seductively lick the chocolate off your fingers while he watches!

Simply warm the cream in a heavy based pot and before it boils add the entire jar of Montez Play Chocolate Sauce. Stir in until fully incorporated. Transfer into a pretty bowl and get ready to dip!

(This should be served immediately so the sauce is still warm....)

Some  Variations

If you’d like to try something a little different you can also infuse flavours into the cream before adding the Montez Play chocolate sauce.

·         For a minty fresh sauce, add chopped mint leaves into the cream, bring to the boil, then strain the leaves out. Transfer back to the pot and you’re ready to add the Montez Play sauce.

·         Yummy liqueurs can also be added to the pot before the cream. Bring a shot or two of your preferred drink to the boil to cook strong alcohol taste out and you just have the flavour left. Bailey’s Irish Cream, Franjelico, Kirsch and Amaretto are great options.

·         A good pinch of espresso powder adds a coffee twist. As you’ll probably be up for a while afterwards, this is definitely a good option!

·         Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon and half a teaspoon of chilli powder for a Mexican chocolate sensation and a sure FIRE winner!

·         For the sophisticated pallet, add an Earl Grey tea bag to the cream as it warm up. Very yummy and fragrant, just make sure you take the bag out before serving! (Tea-bagging is only sexy in the bedroom!) You can try this with any of your favourite flavoured teas.
